My Favorite Fishing Day

An article from one of Dave's friends

When I think about my Best day of fishing, I immediately remember Lake Champlain and my partner for the day, Mr. David Barnes Sr. Besides his calm and cool general demeanor, he is also quite a character. From the Friday night pairing, where I was informed to not be nervous because I was not the first woman he had fished with, to the weigh in on Saturday afternoon A real southern gentleman with a quick wit and an immense knowledge of fishing, paired with some of the funniest stories you could imagine. Dave, you helped to ignite my love of the sport and I will always appreciate that. God Bless my Friend. Thank you for all that you have done for this sport throughout the years, and thank you for making my very first tournament one of my favorite memories.
